Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a WiFi Developer with a strong Linux background, based in Bengaluru. The WiFi Developer will design, implement, and optimize WiFi features and protocols on embedded platforms, with a focus on performance, reliability, and standards compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining software components in Linux and embedded Linux environments, debugging complex issues across kernel and user space, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate WiFi solutions into customer products. The role also involves working with hardware and firmware teams, analyzing logs and traces, and contributing to code reviews, documentation, and test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Programming skills and solid experience in Software Development.Candidates should possess hands-on Debugging skills for complex, low-level, and system-level issues.Candidates should possess practical experience with Linux Kernel development or customization.Candidates should possess experience working with Embedded Linux platforms and toolchains.Candidates should possess knowledge of WiFi protocols (IEEE 802.11), networking concepts, and TCP/IP stack.Candidates should possess familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams.A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering field, and 38 years of relevant industry experience are preferred.
