Head - Technology & IT Governance - Banking

As the Head of Technology & IT at a leading Bank, your role will involve leading the enterprise technology strategy, overseeing Core Banking Systems, digital banking platforms, cybersecurity governance, technology risk management, and regulatory compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a secure, scalable, and resilient technology ecosystem that complies with RBI regulations, while also supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the bank's technology strategy in alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. - Take ownership of Core Banking Systems and all critical technology platforms. - Lead initiatives related to technology architecture, infrastructure, cloud, network, and platform modernization. - Drive IT governance, technology risk management, cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity frameworks. - Supervise digital banking platforms, API ecosystems, fintech integrations, and the adoption of emerging technologies. - Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, audit requirements, vendor governance, and regulatory reporting. Qualifications Required: - 15 - 25 years of technology leadership experience in the banking or financial services industry. - Hands-on experience in managing Core Banking Systems (CBS) within a regulated banking environment. - Expertise in RBI IT governance, cybersecurity, technology risk, and regulatory compliance. - Proven track record of leading large-scale digital banking, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture programs. - Ability to effectively engage with Boards, regulators, auditors, and senior leadership teams.
