About the role
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions. Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent training and experience with at least 5 years of related experience. Strong experience with adoption of CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework), adhering to principles of WAF (Well Architecture Framework) and demonstrated ability of Migrating applications to cloud. Ability to design and manage Azure based and hybrid networking solutions across multiple sites, locations, subscriptions, and virtual networks. Ability to design and manage Microsoft 365 & collaboration Infrastructure - Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Intune, Power BI & other Office 365 services. Experienced in Azure governance, Express Route, Site Recovery, S2S VPN tunnel, Azure Monitor, RBAC, virtual network and subscription peering. Ability to understand scripts in PowerShell, VBS, Python, Ansible and similar languages. Proficient in Active Directory architecture, Sites & Services, DNS, DHCP, and cloud services integration. A solid understanding of most of the following Networking - WAF (Web Application Firewall), NSGs (Network Security Groups), Azure Firewall, Azure DNS, Hybrid DNS. Identity and access - Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBAC Entra ID - Managed Identities, Service Principals IAM – users/groups/service accounts and their differences Azure Governance and Compliance – Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework Data storage and backup Containers - Docker and Kubernetes Microservices
Must be a team player with good customer service skills and the ability to work flexible hours if required. Ensure to exhibit strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Technical Certification in Cloud preferred. The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Work schedule options for this position include 4/10s and 5/8’s PST (subject to change). Personnel may be requested by leadership to work in excess of 40 hours per week due to projects, activities, and emergences; critical operational demands may occasionally require off-shift work. Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘ Identity, Credential, and Access Management ,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘ Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors .’ MSTS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Annual salary range for this position is: $97,219.20 - $145,828.80 Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
