About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining Mitigata, India's first Security + Compliance + Insurance company, as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst (L1). In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on analysis and detailed investigation of security events impacting clients. As part of the 24/7 Cyber Force team, you will utilize advanced SIEM and SOAR toolsets to detect, investigate, and respond to threats across diverse IT environments. Key Responsibilities: - Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment to continuously monitor security alerts and incidents. - Analyze and triage alerts from SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other threat detection platforms. - Identify patterns and indicators of potential security threats, both successful and unsuccessful intrusion attempts. - Create and maintain detailed incident tickets and documentation. - Assist in proactive threat hunting activities and participate in root cause analysis. - Ensure SLA adherence and contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for clients. Qualifications Required: - Experience: Minimum of 1.5 - 3 years in the IT security industry, preferably in a SOC/NOC environment. - Certifications: Preferred degree/diploma in a technology field. Highly desired certifications include SC-200, SC-900, PenTest+, Security+, CCSP, CEH, GMON. - Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with major SIEM tools, cloud platforms, networking, operating systems, scripting, and ITIL disciplines. - General Characteristics: Strong analytical mindset, ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
