About the role
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer/Engineer (ELV Systems) to develop detailed technical drawings (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, PA, BMS) using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with standards (BICSI, NFPA), coordinating with MEP/Architect teams, preparing BOQs/specs, and supporting site installation/commissioning, requiring strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of low-voltage systems for various building projects. Key Responsibilities Design & Drafting: Develop concept, schematic, and detailed drawings for ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, BMS, Public Address, Structured Cabling) using AutoCAD. Documentation: Create technical documents like system layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Bill of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs (MTOs), and equipment specifications. Coordination: Liaise with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to integrate ELV systems seamlessly and prevent clashes. Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to local and international codes, standards (BICSI, NFPA), and project requirements. Site Support: Review site conditions, respond to queries, and provide technical assistance during installation, testing, and commissioning. Quality Control: Perform quality checks, update drawings based on redlines, and create as-built drawings. Essential Skills & Qualifications Software: AutoCAD proficiency is essential; Revit MEP can be an advantage. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ELV technologies, system architecture, and integration with other building services. Experience: 2-3 years in designing ELV systems for projects like airports, hospitals, malls, or corporate buildings. Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related discipline).
