About the role
As a System Integration Specialist, your role will involve leading the post-merger integration of finance systems, including ERP, accounting tools, and reporting platforms. You will be responsible for aligning the chart of accounts, financial processes, and reporting formats across entities. Working closely with IT and business stakeholders, you will implement scalable systems, drive automation, and improve efficiency in financial reporting and consolidations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring accurate maintenance and consolidation of books of accounts post-acquisition - Reviewing and validating financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IND-AS / IFRS / GAAP) - Identifying accounting gaps and implementing necessary corrections after integration In the area of MIS & Reporting, you will be expected to design and monitor Management Information Systems (MIS) across entities, drive standardized financial reporting frameworks for acquired businesses, and provide insights on financial performance, variance analysis, and KPIs to senior management. Additionally, you will supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring strong internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness. You will also be responsible for coordinating with auditors (internal/external) for smooth audit processes. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and standardization in finance operations, developing SOPs and best practices for integrated financial operations, as well as providing staff training & development for billing and transactions systems. In terms of functional competency, you should have strong knowledge of financial accounting & consolidation, MIS/reporting frameworks, financial due diligence, and hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Tally. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills will be beneficial for this role.
