About the role
Senior QA Engineer: Performance & Functional Testing We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with expertise in Performance Testing and Test Automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or LoadNinja and Playwright, TestComplete, or Selenium. The role involves designing and executing automated and performance tests to ensure scalable, high-quality applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop and execute performance test scripts using JMeter, LoadRunner or LoadNinja. - Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations. - Conduct performance testing for Web, Mobile, Desktop, and API applications. - Prepare performance test reports and recommend performance improvements based on test results. - Develop and maintain automated functional test suites using Playwright, TestComplete, or Selenium. - Perform manual functional testing where required. - Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams to ensure application quality. - Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking and reporting. Required Skills: - 3- 5 years of QA experience. - Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, LoadNinja or any other performance testing tool. - Experience in performance testing of Web, Mobile, Desktop and API applications. - Understanding of monitoring and profiling tools is an added advantage. - Hands-on experience with Playwright, TestComplete or Selenium. - Experience in functional testing and test automation. - Positive understanding of the software testing lifecycle and defect management. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Playwright (preferred) or TestComplete. - Selenium experience is acceptable as an alternative. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation best practices. Mandatory: - Performance Testing: J Meter / LoadRunner / LoadNinja (or equivalent) - Test Automation: Playwright / TestComplete / Selenium - Functional Testing - STLC & Defect Management Good to Have: - Monitoring & Profiling - CI/CD - AWS / Azure - Performance Analysis & Tuning - Scripting (Java or Python) .
