About the role
Core Responsibilities Firmware Development: Writing highly optimized code, primarily in Cor C++ or Python, that lives directly on a device's chip (microcontroller or microprocessor). Hardware Integration: Collaborating with electrical and hardware teams to map system requirements, understand schematics, and write low-level drivers that allow software to communicate with physical sensors and components. Resource Optimization: Designing software that operates flawlessly under strict physical constraints (limited memory, battery power, and processing speed). System Implementation: Using Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) to ensure devices can process critical data and perform tasks simultaneously without any latency. Testing and Debugging: Troubleshooting code anomalies using hardware testing tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters to verify system reliability. Required Skills Excellent programming experience in C, C++, python Microcontroller: AVR, ARM, PIC Familiarity with software configuration. Good knowledge in TCP/IP, UDP, RS232, RS485/ socket programming/ modbus/interface, components selection and BOM Hardware testing and debugging Good Knowledge of iot.
