Job Description: Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA) Job Type: Contractual Location: Remote Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months Notice Period: Immediate Salary: 1.2 Lakh per month Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with Development experience to join our team immediately on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with SQL Server, excellent query writing and optimization skills, and hands-on expertise with Azure services including Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Marts. Familiarity with Power BI is also a must for this role. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Database Administration: Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Development Support: Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries and improve database performance. Query Writing & Optimization: Write complex T-SQL queries and optimize them for performance. Azure Services: Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse for data integration, pipeline creation, and data management. Data Mart Management: Design and maintain Data Marts to support business intelligence needs. Power BI Integration: Support and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring smooth integration with the data architecture. Collaboration & Communication: Engage with stakeholders across teams to ensure smooth communication and project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience as a DBA with a strong background in development and database optimization. Query Writing: Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL query writing. Query Optimization: Strong skills in optimizing database queries and improving system performance. Azure: Hands-on experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse. Data Mart: Knowledge of data mart creation and management for business intelligence purposes. Power BI: Understanding of Power BI for report/dashboard creation and integration with databases. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve database performance issues. Immediate joiners Preferred Skills: Experience with other Azure data services. Knowledge of performance tuning in distributed environments. Experience in working with large-scale data pipelines and data lakes. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. .
