About the role
Job Title : Process Engineer
Experience : 5 to 10 Years
Location : Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide process engineering support for offshore production facilities and operational activities.
Troubleshoot process issues and recommend technical solutions to improve plant performance and reliability.
Support Management of Change (MOC) activities and small brownfield modification projects.
Review and update process engineering documents including PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and operating procedures.
Conduct technical evaluations, safeguard reviews, and operating envelope assessments.
Support HAZOP, PHA, audit reviews, and closure of safety or operational action items.
Perform flare/vent studies and support process safety risk model management.
Collaborate with offshore operations, reliability teams, contractors, and vendors for issue resolution and project execution.
Requisites
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
Strong understanding of offshore oil & gas production facilities and upstream operations.
Knowledge of gas compression, crude dehydration, and produced water treatment systems.
Experience in process troubleshooting, process safety, and facility optimization.
Familiarity with HAZOP, PHA, MOC, and process engineering documentation.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
