About the role
Job Title : Subsurface AI Specialist
Experience : 5 to 8 Years
Location : Bengaluru
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and develop AI and Machine Learning solutions for subsurface exploration and production.
Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and AI techniques to solve complex business challenges.
Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify AI opportunities and improve decision-making.
Build, deploy, and optimize AI/ML models to enhance workflows and automation.
Analyze and interpret subsurface data to generate actionable insights.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
Ensure AI solutions comply with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.
Support innovation by evaluating and implementing emerging AI technologies.
Requisites
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
Proficiency in Python, C++, and AI/ML frameworks.
Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, or similar cloud AI platforms.
Knowledge of subsurface data analysis and interpretation.
Understanding of the Oil & Gas value chain is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
Knowledge of Agentic AI is an added advantage.
