Electrical Control Panel Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Control Panel Estimation Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial proposals for LT electrical control panels. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of electrical panel design, relevant IEC standards, and estimation practices. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for LT electrical control panels. Study customer specifications, SLDs, GA drawings, and BOQs. Estimate MCC, PCC, APFC, Distribution Boards, Control Panels, and PLC-based panels. Select suitable electrical components based on project requirements. Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and sales teams. Prepare techno-commercial offers and ensure timely submission. Optimize panel designs for cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality and compliance. Maintain estimation records and vendor pricing databases. Support technical discussions with customers when required. Required Qualifications Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. 25 years of experience in electrical control panel estimation (preferred). Technical Skills Good knowledge of IEC 61439 and IEC 60439 standards. Experience in estimating MCC, PCC, APFC, Distribution Boards, and other LT Control Panels. Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage. Familiarity with electrical components from major OEMs (Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, L&T, Eaton, etc.). Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation documentation. Desired Skills Strong analytical and costing skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple enquiries. Team player with a proactive approach. Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in LT panel manufacturing industries and familiarity with routine panel specifications, IEC compliance, and customer tender requirements will be preferred.
