APAC Regional Engineering Manager

We're Hiring: APAC Regional Engineering Manager Location: Pune Experience: 12-17 Years As the APAC Regional Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping regional engineering strategies while contributing to a global engineering community. Engineering Manager Position .Leading the regional engineering team from a management as well as functional perspective, by means of target setting, performance reviews, periodic update and communication, etc. .Implementation of global and regional strategy for engineering, sizing of team and assuring capabilities feedback loop to set corrective actions whenever necessary. .Integral part in an interdisciplinary team with regional/local sales, purchasing and operation .Development of an assigned Engineering team incl. all necessary activities such as training, coaching, career and succession planning. .Performing skill assessments for the regional/local engineering teams together with the global organization. .Developing and execution of a skill development plan for the regional/local engineering teams together with the global organization. .Responsibilities for the functional report lines: .Communication of engineering strategies, processes, standards and changes .Assure and enforce use of global standards, policies and tools .Contact point for problem escalation .Skill assessment and skill development of the local engineers .Functional management by means of performance reviews and target settings together with business manager KPI: Engineering Process Efficiency (time for quotation & order processing; hours for product engineering; tool usage rate) Failure rate (number of product failures in the field) Skill level of the engineering team & engagement level We're Hiring: APAC Regional Engineering Manager Location: Pune Experience: 12-17 Years As the APAC Regional Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping regional engineering strategies while contributing to a global engineering community.
