About the role

Preferred candidate profile MicroStrategy Administration: Managing platform components, automating administration with Command/Object/Integrity Manager, and auditing system usage via Platform Analytics. Linux OS Administration: Managing OS-level configurations, scripting bash automations, and troubleshooting system resources using command-line diagnostic tools. Containerization (Docker, etc.): Understanding container architecture to troubleshoot, configure, and manage MicroStrategy container images, container lifecycles, and resource allocations. Kubernetes (cluster management, pods): Understanding orchestration concepts to monitor MicroStrategy services inside Pods, manage persistent volume storage, and scale application nodes dynamically. MicroStrategy Cloud Management Console (CMC) platform: Provisioning, upgrading, and orchestrating containerized CMC cloud environments. Metadata and integration: Maintaining and backing up the Metadata repository while troubleshooting deep queries hitting the data warehouse. Security, SSL Management, and Access Control: Implementing SSO (SAML/LDAP), managing object-level permissions (ACLs) and row-level security filters, and handling the configuration, end-to-end encryption, and seamless renewal of SSL/TLS certificates across the web, library, and containerized server nodes. Performance tuning and troubleshooting: Optimizing memory caches and Intelligent Cubes while analyzing system limits and DSSErrors.log to resolve performance bottlenecks. Data source connectivity and integration: Configuring ODBC/JDBC database drivers on Linux and adjusting VLDB properties to generate database-optimized SQL queries.
