About the role
As an IT Operations Specialist, your role involves managing day-to-day IT operations, handling incidents and changes, ensuring SLA adherence, and supporting vulnerability management and continuity planning. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Incidents, Problems, and Change Requests following ITIL guidelines - Handle P1/P2 (Major) incidents, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication - Execute Change Management processes, including standard and emergency changes - Perform initial root cause analysis and support Problem Management activities - Conduct and track Vulnerability Assessments, ensuring closure within SLA - Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar tools for ticketing and reporting - Support Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - Monitor systems and respond to alerts using standard monitoring tools - Maintain documentation for incidents, changes, and operational procedures Qualification Required: - Hands-on experience with ITIL & ITSM processes - Strong expertise in Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management - Experience working with ServiceNow (SNOW) or any ITSM tool - Understanding of application/infrastructure vulnerabilities and exposure to Vulnerability Assessments & SLA tracking - Experience with Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity The company values strong communication and coordination skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations, good analytical and problem-solving ability, and confidence in stakeholder interactions. Additional Company Details: - Basic Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) is considered a plus - Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Nagios, etc.) is beneficial.
