About the role
Role Overview: As a Product Analyst at this Fintech company with dominance in the Capital Market domain, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business and IT. Your main responsibility will be to translate business requirements into technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with the Product Head and technical team members to understand and document business processes, analyze data, and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. It is essential for you to have a strong understanding of business processes and be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical team members. Prior experience in the Stock broking domain is mandatory for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, analyze business processes, and identify areas for improvement. - Gather and analyze data to support decision-making, document business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. - Assess current competitor offerings, identify opportunities for differentiation, and strive to gain a deep understanding of customer experience to enhance product offerings. - Stay updated with the latest trends in the Capital markets and trading, conduct industry research and analysis, and proactively seek client feedback for continuous product enhancement. - Gather initial client requirements from product end-users, communicate enhancement requests to the product owner and delivery teams, and work closely with them to design and develop exceptional products. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field. - Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues and strong stakeholder management skills. - Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment, keen attention to detail, and customer-centric approach. - Proficiency in database software, problem-solving skills, and at least 2 years of experience in investing and trading in the stock market or other financial markets. - Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
