About the role
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior FP&A Engineer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise planning solutions across Finance, Sales, and Workforce domains. This role will be part of a Global Finance Technology, partnering closely with onshore FP&A, RevOps, and other Business teams. You will play a key role in driving the organizations transition to driver-based, integrated planning using platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, and Workday Adaptive Planning, while ensuring scalability, governance, and high-quality delivery from India. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram or Bangalore for our hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities1. Enterprise Planning DeliveryDesign and build scalable planning models across:Financial Planning (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)Workforce Planning and Cost modelingSales & Revenue forecasting (ARR, pipeline, bookings)Own end-to-end delivery working with the Product Manager : design build test deploy support2. Model Development & OptimizationBuild multi-dimensional, driver-based models with strong focus on performanceDevelop scenario planning, versioning, and forecasting capabilitiesOptimize model size, calculation efficiency, and user experience3. Platform ExpertiseSubject Matter Expertise in:Pigment Anaplan (Model Builder / Solution Architect)Configure workflows, security, and access controlsLeverage platform-native capabilities vs over-customization4. Data Integration & AutomationIntegrate planning tools with enterprise systems:ERP (NetSuite / Oracle)CRM (Salesforce)Data platforms Build and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, APIs, or ETL tools5. Stakeholder Collaboration (Global Model)Work closely with US / EMEA FP&A, IT, and Business teamsParticipate in requirement workshops and translate business needs into technical designsProvide regular updates, demos, and documentation to global stakeholders6. Governance, Controls & DocumentationEstablish and maintain:Model design standards and naming conventionsDocumentation ( solution design, runbooks)Data validation and reconciliation processesEnsure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and strong controls7. Production Support & Continuous ImprovementProvide L2/L3 support for planning applicationsTroubleshoot data/model issues and drive root-cause analysisContinuously improve forecast accuracy, usability, and performanceRequired Qualifications710 years of experience in:FP&A systems / EPM / Enterprise Planning implementationsHands-on experience in at least one platform:Pigment (preferred) Anaplan OR Workday Adaptive PlanningStrong understanding of:Financial planning processes and financial statementsAnnual Sales PlanningDriver-based modeling and forecastingExperience with:ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Data warehouses Additional Technical skills: Exposure to Python or scripting is a plusExperience with ETL / integration toolsPreferred QualificationsCertifications:Anaplan Certified Model Builder / Solution Architect, ORWorkday Adaptive Planning Certification OR Pigment Modeler ExperienceExperience supporting SaaS / consumption-based business modelsExposure to:Headcount and compensation planningAnnual Sales PlanningRevenue modeling (ARR, churn, expansion)Experience working in a Global Capability Center (GCC) / Offshore delivery modelSoft SkillsStrong communication skills with ability to work with global stakeholdersHigh ownership and accountability for deliverablesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStructured problem-solving and attention to detailAbout MongoDBMongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
