AVP Engineering / Senior Engineering Manager Location: Gurgaon | Reports to: CTO Own. Solve. Lead. Deliver. We're looking for an engineering leader who goes beyond status reporting. This role is about deep technical ownership, multi-project leadership, and driving engineering excellence at scale. You'll manage multiple high-impact projects, solve complex challenges, and ensure world-class quality in every delivery. This person will manages a scope of about 250 engineering tech team. Your Impact Delivery & Customer Success ✅ Drive on-time, high-quality project deliveries across multiple client engagements ✅ Set high standards and embed continuous improvement into every process ✅ Solve technical roadblocks, support escalations, and lead from the front ✅ Ensure state-of-the-art quality governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment ✅ Customer-first approach—high satisfaction scores and transparent communication KPIs: On-time delivery %, Customer satisfaction (CSAT, NPS), Bug leakage rate, Escalation resolution time Process & Governance Excellence ✅ Define and enforce best-in-class engineering processes across teams ✅ Standardize metrics: LOC, defect density, developer/tester efficiency ✅ Ensure CI/CD adoption, static code analysis, containerized deployments ✅ Capture and replicate best practices across projects ✅ Cross-functional collaboration with Dev, QA, KAMs, internal & customer stakeholders KPIs: Process adherence %, Bug density, Tool adoption rate, Code review effectiveness Strategy & Technology Leadership ✅ Align execution with business and engineering strategy ✅ Experiment, adopt, and implement modern tech stacks and architectures ✅ Drive decisions on tech adoption, design patterns, and scalability KPIs: Success rate of new tech adoption, Business alignment, Tech efficiency impact Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support ✅ Deeply engage with customers—understand concerns, align on business goals ✅ Conduct weekly updates, monthly governance, and risk mitigation planning ✅ Support pre-sales with solutioning, estimates, architecture, and team planning KPIs: Customer feedback, Risk mitigation success, Pre-sales deal contribution Team Leadership & Growth ✅ Identify, mentor, and nurture high-performing engineering leaders ✅ Define training plans & work with HR to build structured learning modules ✅ Drive a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous learning KPIs: Employee retention, Training completion %, Leadership pipeline growth Who You Are ✔ Seasoned Engineering Leader – Technical depth in software engineering, DevOps, Agile with Strong knowledge of system architecture, microservices, databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) ✔ Strategic & Hands-On – Can zoom into technical details while keeping the big picture in focus ✔ Execution Excellence – Proven ability to drive multiple high-stakes projects at scale ✔ Customer-Centric – Experience in stakeholder engagement & customer success If you are not just a status collector, but a hands-on problem solver and leader, let's talk.
