MPL emphasizes safety, operational efficiency, and quality standards across all its sites. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tower Surveyor role based in Indore. The Tower Surveyor will conduct field surveys for existing and proposed telecom tower sites, including site visits, measurements, and verification of ground conditions. Responsibilities include collecting GPS coordinates, checking line-of-sight, evaluating access routes, and assessing structural feasibility in coordination with engineering and project teams. The role involves preparing site survey reports, sketches, and basic drawings, documenting photos, and updating records in company systems. The Tower Surveyor will liaise with local stakeholders and internal teams, follow safety protocols at all times, and support project planning, tower installation, and maintenance activities as needed. Qualifications Ability to perform accurate field surveys, including site measurements, GPS readings, line-of-sight checks, and basic topographical assessments. Experience interpreting tower drawings, site layouts, and basic civil or structural plans, with familiarity in telecom tower components and standards. Competence in documenting survey findings, preparing concise reports, and using digital tools or apps for data entry, mapping, and photo documentation. Strong awareness of field safety practices, including working at heights, use of PPE, and adherence to company and regulatory safety procedures. Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and local stakeholders on-site. Willingness to travel frequently to tower locations in and around Indore and work in varied outdoor conditions. Diploma or degree in civil, electrical, telecom, or related engineering/technical discipline preferred; relevant field experience in telecom infrastructure is an advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain schedules, and meet project deadlines with high attention to detail.
