About the role
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to support regulatory reporting by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. The role involves data analysis, quality monitoring, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and lineage for regulatory reporting Identify data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation Collaborate with business, technology, and cross-functional teams for data validation and automation Perform data mining, cleansing, reconciliation, and maintenance activities Develop and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and data mappings Support data lifecycle activities including profiling, documentation, and testing Drive process improvements and implement data quality controls Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related areas Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis and mapping Exposure to ETL tools, Databricks/Alteryx, and Power BI Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, macros, VBA) Knowledge of tools like DBeaver, pgAdmin, Collibra, and JIRA (preferred) Understanding of regulatory reporting processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills Basic awareness of AI concepts and interest in leveraging AI for process efficiency
