Role: Director – Data Science (Supply Chain) Location: Bengaluru Experience: 15+ years Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Director – Data Science to lead and scale advanced analytics and AI initiatives with a strong focus on Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations . This role requires a strategic leader who can translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, drive large-scale transformations, and build high-performing teams while working closely with clients and leadership stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities Define and drive the data science vision, strategy, and roadmap for supply chain and operations-focused engagements Lead end-to-end AI/ML programs across demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing analytics Translate complex supply chain problems into scalable analytical solutions delivering measurable business impact Combine hands-on technical contribution , team leadership, and client engagement in a fast-paced, evolving environment Build and scale high-performing data science teams , ensuring strong execution, mentoring, and capability development Drive project management excellence , including planning, estimation, execution, and stakeholder communication Develop and implement scalable processes and frameworks for faster delivery and improved accuracy across engagements Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights Collaborate with pre-sales and business teams to shape solutions, proposals, and go-to-market strategies Contribute to internal product and accelerator development in the supply chain analytics space Ensure adoption of best practices in MLOps, model deployment, and lifecycle management Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (MBA preferred) 15+ years of experience, with 12+ years in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI Strong expertise in Supply Chain / Manufacturing / CPG / Operations analytics Hands-on experience with: Programming: Python, R, SQL, NoSQL Big Data & Distributed Systems: Spark, Hadoop Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP Libraries/Frameworks: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP models (e.g., BERT) Strong foundation in:Machine Learning & Deep Learning Statistics & Data Mining Optimization techniques and simulation models Proven ability to derive insights from large datasets and drive business outcomes Desired Skills Deep expertise in advanced ML techniques across structured and unstructured data Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing environments Exposure to digital supply chain transformation initiatives Strong experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills Data Engineering,Supply Chain,Big data
