As a Data & Analytics Engineer at Morgan Stanley, you will be responsible for providing specialist data analysis and expertise to support decision-making and business insights. Your role will involve crafting data pipelines, implementing data models, and optimizing data processes to enhance data accuracy and accessibility. Additionally, you will be utilizing machine learning and AI-based techniques to drive data innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with business, operational, and technology teams to provide guidance on data management and governance concepts - Support the delivery and maintenance of the firm's Global Data Quality Policy - Implement data quality best practices and rules to mitigate risks related to data usage - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements concerning data usage within the firm - Assist in data cataloging, extract generation, and self-serve dashboards support - Conduct root cause analysis to identify common themes across data issues and propose effective solutions - Capture and document new requirements related to Reporting Services Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) - Proficiency in data visualization technologies like Tableau and PowerBI - Experience in handling various data sources such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with relational database management and data analysis tools (e.g., DataIKU, PowerQuery) - Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and testing skills to ensure code quality - Knowledge of enterprise data management and data quality governance processes - Experience in stakeholder management Additional Details: Morgan Stanley, a global leader in financial services since 1935, is committed to innovation and evolution to better serve clients in over 40 countries worldwide.
