Production/ Application Support- Associate - Prod Level

We're seeking someone to join our Advisory, Sales and Distribution Reliability Production Engineering team as an Associate in Technology to help ensure the stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of business-critical production applications across global markets. This is a Reliability Production Engineering II position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving production technology services and ensuring resilient application operations. What you'll do in the role: > Contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project tasks, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment. > Manage critical production incidents and provide timely updates to technology, business, and management stakeholders. > Build strong business and application knowledge to support Advisory, Sales and Distribution applications effectively. > Support internally developed and vendor applications across the production lifecycle, ensuring production readiness and operational stability. > Partner with business users, development teams, engineering teams, and vendors to resolve issues and improve service reliability. > Respond to high-priority service requests, user issues, and system-generated alerts in a timely and controlled manner. > Create and enhance monitoring, alerting, automation scripts, and operating procedures to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency. > Coordinate maintenance, disaster recovery, deployment reviews, problem management, and post-incident follow-up actions. What you'll bring to the role: > 3 to 5 years of experience in application production support, preferably within financial services. > Intermediate knowledge of UNIX operating systems and shell scripting. > Strong understanding of relational database concepts and basic SQL syntax. > Experience with incident management, debugging, prioritization, and problem solving in a production environment. > Familiarity with client/server application architectures, messaging middleware such as MQ, and scheduling tools such as AutoSys. > Exposure to Python, Perl, or other scripting languages for automation and operational improvement. > Ability to support disaster recovery planning, backups, game days, security controls, vulnerability response, and access management. > Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage business and technology stakeholders. > Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk, or Jaeger. > Knowledge of scheduling and ETL tools such as AutoSys and Informatica.
