Title: Associate Machine Learning Data Researcher Shift: UK Morningstars Research group provides independent analysis on individual securities, funds, markets, and portfolios. The Research group also provides data on hundreds of thousands of investment offerings, including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles, along with real-time global market data on millions of equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and Treasury markets. The Role and the Team: Responsibilities: - Represent fund day-to-day data collection processes and issues, and work with Data Scientists to identify potential areas for improvement where Machine Learning models can be applied for better process efficiency and data quality. - Contribute to AI-enhanced data collection activities and future data flow discussions as a domain expert. - Partner with Data Scientists to build/tune the Machine Learning models, monitor the performance of ML models, and analyze ML results. - Work closely with global data collection teams across various functions to achieve the desired outcome - Build & maintain the documentation on ML models. - Diagnose data issues in daily processes, identify root causes, and relay the issue to Data Scientists if necessary. - Formulate and refine data annotation scheme and annotate training data. Requirements: - Current role of Senior Data Research Analyst (SDRA) - Applicant should be AI/ML Practitioner program certified. - Proven ability to articulate the problem statement and business requirements for building ML models. - Understand Morningstar data collections processes and the methodologies for collecting those data point .
