About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining MostEdge's global engineering team as a Senior DevOps Engineer in India. Your main responsibilities will include designing, automating, and maintaining multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, OVH, and Runtime Cloud. Additionally, you will support the microservices architecture, Kafka event streams, ETL pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and various database systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and maintenance of multi-cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, GCP, OVH, and Runtime Cloud. - Deploy, scale, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads. - Support ETL pipelines and ensure reliable data flows across systems. - Administer and optimize databases including MongoDB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, including replication, backups, and performance tuning. - Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Datadog. - Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - 610 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. - Proven expertise with multi-cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OVH, and Runtime Cloud. - Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Experience with ETL processes and large-scale data pipelines. - Solid background in databases including MongoDB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. - Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar. - Experience with microservice observability, service mesh, and distributed tracing. - Knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, and advanced security. - Familiarity with hybrid-cloud environments and cost optimization. - Exposure to global teams and agile development practices. - Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps practices.
