Software Developer (Java)

As an experienced and passionate Java Developer, you will be joining a dynamic development team to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices to enhance application functionality. - Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on AWS for optimal performance. - Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security to ensure seamless user experience. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both production and development environments. - Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices. - Create and update technical documentation for reference and knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Experience: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development. - Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for effective coding. - Experience in developing web applications and RESTful services to meet user needs. - Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud deployments for efficient operations. - Good understanding of Microservices Architecture to enhance application structure. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle for data management. - Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD practices for streamlined development processes. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive project success. Preferred Skills: - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ for efficient communication. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies for iterative and collaborative project management. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Full-Time) OR - Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science (Full-Time).
