SAP Utilities Consultant (Hyderabad)

Job Summary: - We are seeking a highly specialized SAP Utilities Consultant to join our team and support our operations within the energy and utilities sector. - Your role is to design, implement, and support SAP solutions tailored to the unique challenges and processes of the utility industry. - You will leverage your deep knowledge of the industry's value chain, from customer service and billing to asset management and energy markets, to drive operational efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze and map business processes specific to the utilities industry to SAP solutions. - Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP modules relevant to the utilities industry (e.g., IS-U, CRM, FICA). - Provide expert functional and technical support to end-users, resolving complex issues and improving processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and digital transformation. - Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and conduct user training sessions. - Participate in or lead integration activities with other enterprise systems (e.g., GIS, Smart Grid). - Stay current with the latest SAP developments and industry best practices, recommending improvements. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field. - 8+ years of SAP experience with at least 4 years specifically focused on the Utilities industry. - Deep understanding of SAP IS-U (Industry Solution for Utilities). - Experience with key utilities modules: FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable), Device Management, or others. - Solid experience in SAP configuration, implementation methodologies, and project management. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
