MES Tech Lead

As an experienced MES professional with over 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end MES implementation programs using Siemens Opcenter and/or DELMIA Apriso. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving solution architecture, functional design, configuration, customization, and deployment activities. - Working closely with business stakeholders to gather manufacturing requirements and translate them into MES solutions. - Supporting integrations with ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, Historian, and shop floor systems. - Ensuring successful deployment across production, quality, traceability, inventory, and manufacturing operations. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentoring to MES development and implementation teams, reviewing solution designs, integration approaches, and development standards. Your role will involve driving best practices for MES architecture, deployment, validation, and support, as well as supporting performance optimization and issue resolution for MES applications. You will also be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling MES competency teams, conducting internal trainings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentoring programs. Your involvement in hiring activities, including technical interviews and team onboarding, will be crucial. Furthermore, you will define reusable frameworks, accelerators, templates, and implementation methodologies. In the realm of pre-sales & business development, you will support activities such as solution presentations, effort estimations, proposal preparation, and client demos. Collaboration with sales and account teams to identify MES transformation opportunities will be a key aspect of your role. Your contribution to capability presentations, GTM strategies, and practice development initiatives will be highly valued. Engaging directly with client stakeholders, including manufacturing, operations, quality, and IT teams, will be essential. Leading requirement discussions, solution walkthroughs, governance meetings, and status reviews will be part of your responsibilities. Building strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted advisor for MES transformation initiatives will be critical to success in this role. Furthermore, you will contribute to MES COE initiatives and strategic capability development, developing reusable assets, accelerators, proof-of-concepts, and demo environments. Your support for innovation initiatives around Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, IoT, AI/ML, and Digital Manufacturing will be instrumental in driving organizational competency development and strategic roadmap planning. Preferred skills for this role include exposure to IIoT, SCADA/PLC integrations, OPC UA, manufacturing analytics, and cloud-based MES architectures. Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and knowledge of validation/compliance processes in regulated industries will be advantageous. Soft skills such as strong leadership and communication skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and global teams, and a customer-focused mindset with a consulting orientation will be essential for success in this role.
