About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our engineering infrastructure — designing, building, and operating the systems that enable our development teams to ship software reliably, securely, and at scale. You will champion DevOps culture across the organization, drive automation initiatives, manage our cloud infrastructure, and ensure the highest standards of platform reliability and security. This is a senior, hands-on position with significant scope and visibility. Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and services Manage pipeline tooling including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI Enforce branching strategies, build quality gates, and automated deployment approvals Integrate SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning tools into pipeline workflows Implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies to minimize downtime Architect, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS Manage multi-environment setups (dev, staging, production) with proper isolation Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures leveraging auto-scaling, load balancing, and multi-AZ deployments Manage container platforms using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters) Build and maintain Docker images, Helm charts, and container registries Build alerting frameworks and on-call runbooks; lead post-incident reviews and blameless retrospectives Drive MTTR reduction through automation, self-healing systems, and runbook automation Implement DevSecOps practices — shift-left security, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting languages Proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell, Go, or PowerShell Develop internal tooling, CLI utilities, and self-service developer portals Serve as a trusted partner to development, QA, and security teams — enabling fast, safe delivery Required Skills & Experience Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineer Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP, AWS preferred Hands-on experience with Docker and container image lifecycle management Proven CI/CD pipeline design experience with tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI Scripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and tooling Experience with monitoring/observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog Experience with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review practices Advanced Kubernetes skills — cluster administration, networking, storage, and security Movado Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
