About the role
Role Overview: As an Associate Business Analyst with 4-6 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting business analysis activities, documenting requirements, working with stakeholders, and contributing to AI/ML-driven product initiatives. Your role will involve collaborating with product owners, engineering, and data teams to ensure clear, actionable user stories are developed. Key Responsibilities: - Document business goals, objectives, and impact statements. - Conduct current-state, future-state, and gap analysis. - Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), and user stories with acceptance criteria. - Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews. - Partner with product owners, engineering, and AI/ML teams to clarify requirements. - Manage traceability matrices and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Support process flows, Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), use cases, and documentation. Qualification Required: - 3+ years of experience in requirements documentation (BRD/FRD/SRS). - 2-3 years of experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria. - 2-3 years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming). - 1-2 years of experience in data analysis fundamentals and SQL basics. - 1 year of exposure to AI/ML requirements and prompt engineering. Additional Details: The company values candidates with experience in Banking, Insurance, or Logistics industries and familiarity with the AI/ML lifecycle. It is beneficial to have knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), Lucidchart, or Miro. Behavioral skills such as a good attitude, quick learning ability, strong communication, and problem-solving skills are highly regarded.
