Java Software Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and Cucumber. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications in an Agile environment. Mandatory Skills Java (8/11/17) Spring Boot Microservices Architecture Apache Kafka Cucumber (BDD Framework) RESTful APIs JUnit/TestNG SQL Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Git/GitHub Agile/Scrum Methodology Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and implement Microservices-based solutions. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Kafka. Write automated test scenarios using Cucumber and BDD practices. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI, QA, DevOps, and Product teams. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Experience 5+ years of experience in Java application development. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices. Experience in Kafka-based messaging and event-driven architectures. Experience with Cucumber for automation and BDD testing. Good understanding of API design, security, and performance tuning. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
