As a Helpdesk Engineer I at Mr. Cooper Group, you play a vital role in keeping the dream of homeownership alive by serving as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing IT issues. Your responsibilities include responding promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages. You will diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network problems, such as password resets, software installations, and basic connectivity issues. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing IT issues - Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and chat messages - Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network problems - Create, update, and close support tickets in the helpdesk system - Utilize existing knowledge base articles to find solutions and contribute to its expansion - Recognize when an issue is beyond your scope and escalate to appropriate higher-level support teams - Provide basic guidance to users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices - Stay updated on new technologies and support procedures through ongoing training and self-study Qualifications Required: - Experience in technical support or a related field - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - Relevant IT certifications are a plus Join Mr. Cooper Group, an Equal Opportunity Employer, and be part of a team that values diversity and inclusion.
