JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly engaged and motivated Senior Manager, Software Engineer to join the Property Experience Tech organization. This role designs, develops, and implements enterprise-level applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, and TypeScript, with a strong focus on front-end development within full-stack solutions.
The Senior Manager, Software Engineer partners closely with product, business, and technology stakeholders, contributes to scalable and maintainable application architecture, and supports a fast-paced Agile team through thoughtful delivery, strong collaboration, and high-quality engineering practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience
Required
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
· 7+ years of experience developing applications with ReactJS or a similar JavaScript framework, with strong front-end engineering depth
· Experience delivering complex full-stack projects involving multiple functions, scalable data patterns, API integrations, and cloud-based or enterprise application environments
Preferred
· Proven experience designing and consuming GraphQL-based backend systems and integrating them into responsive, user-focused applications
· Hands-on experience with TypeScript, NextJS, React Query, NodeJS, Nx monorepos, Docker, Git/CLI, UNIX/bash, and enterprise development workflows
· Experience leading IT project work, partnering with stakeholders and business teams, and providing technical guidance through code reviews, design discussions, and delivery planning
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
· Designs, develops, tests, and implements enterprise-level applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, TypeScript, and related technologies
· Builds efficient, reusable, and maintainable code for high-quality responsive and cross-platform applications, with emphasis on front-end development
· Analyzes project specifications, business requirements, and technical designs to deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards
· Develops and consumes GraphQL APIs and integrates front-end experiences with backend services, data models, and enterprise platforms
· Contributes to full-stack solution design for complex initiatives involving multiple functions, API integrations, scalable data patterns, and cloud environments
· Participates in Agile delivery by estimating work, completing sprint commitments, updating project management tools, and supporting timely delivery of assigned tasks
· Uses Git and command-line workflows proficiently, including creating pull requests, pushing and pulling changes, merging branches, and resolving conflicts in an active codebase
· Reviews code and provides constructive feedback to maintain quality, consistency, reusability, accessibility, performance, and adherence to coding standards
· Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves application defects and production issues using strong problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgment
· Collaborates closely with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, quality engineers, stakeholders, and business partners to align on requirements and delivery outcomes
· Asks thoughtful questions, shares knowledge, explains alternative solutions, and contributes to a positive, inquisitive, and collaborative team culture
· Works independently to produce high-quality deliverables while remaining flexible and responsive to shifting priorities in an enterprise Agile environment
· Provides technical input into application patterns, architecture decisions, documentation, and continuous improvement opportunities across the codebase
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Strong proficiency with TypeScript, ReactJS, NextJS, React Query, GraphQL, Git/CLI, Nx monorepo workflows, UNIX/bash/CLI, and Docker
· Ability to design, build, and consume GraphQL-based backend systems as part of full-stack application delivery
· Ability to write clean, tested, reusable, and performant code that supports responsive enterprise applications and long-term maintainability
