Your Team ResponsibilitiesThe Instrument Data Management (IDM) organization is responsible for providing data content and services for MSCI tools that fuels investment decisions. Our services focus on working with the multiple business units on the production and development of input data used for product generation. In addition, we provide support to our sales team, consultants and client relations teams with client inquiries on content.The Equity Instrument Data Intern will support the daily operation, ensuring the highest level of quality for a diverse data set of attributes. Interns are also expected to contribute to projects supporting IDM initiatives to re-build and enhance many of the core data content.Your Key ResponsibilitiesQuality assurance of equity market and reference dataMonitor workflow processes and resolve issues with urgency as they ariseIdentify, investigate and resolve data discrepancies and ensure they do not recurVariance analysis of data attributes with various vendor sourcesResearch corporate events and assets as it pertains to MSCI methodologyUpdate and conduct extensive quality assurance to our financial databaseWork in partnership with local and global teams to enhance and improve client experienceSupport project initiatives to enhance and automate operational processes, including the use of AI tools and technologiesYour skills and experience that will help you excelPursuing a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalentEnglish verbal and written (additional language skills a plus)Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of SQL, Python, AI tools or other programming languages is preferredAbout MSCIWhat we offer youA culture of high performance and innovation where we experiment with new ideas and take responsibility for achieving results.A global network of talented colleagues, who inspire, support, and share their expertise to innovate and deliver for our clients.We actively nurture an environment that builds a sense of inclusion belonging and connection, including eight Employee Resource Groups.
