C++ Developer

Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated C/C++ Software Engineer with 58 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong coding expertise in C/C++, excellent analytical and mathematical abilities, and an interest in solving complex business problems within the Life Insurance domain. The role involves developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions while collaborating with business analysts, domain experts, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C/C++ . Customize and enhance standard software products based on business requirements. Analyze and implement complex business logic and mathematical calculations. Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and domain experts. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices. Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Participate in Agile development, deployment, and release activities. Ensure software quality, reliability, and adherence to coding standards. Required Skills 6–11 years of hands-on experience in C/C++ development . Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms . Experience with Linux/Unix development environments. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in software customization and product development. Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency preferred). Preferred Skills Experience in the Life Insurance domain. Exposure to Insurance , Financial Services , or Actuarial applications. Knowledge of financial calculations or actuarial concepts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD, and modern development practices. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an added advantage.
