Hiring: FinOps SRE Engineer / Lead Location: Bangalore (Remote during Contract | Hybrid after FTE Conversion) Duration: 1218 Months Contract (Potential Full-Time Conversion) Work Location (Post Full-Time Conversion): Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore OR Brigade World Trade Centre, Bangalore (Hybrid 3 days/week) We are looking for an experienced FinOps SRE Engineer / Lead to join a rapidly growing FinOps practice. If you have a strong background in Azure Cloud, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, governance, and financial management, we'd love to hear from you! Required Skills: 10+ years of IT experience 5+ years of Microsoft Azure Cloud experience 3+ years in Enterprise Cloud Strategy & Governance 2+ years of hands-on Cloud FinOps experience Strong expertise in Azure cost optimization, resource efficiency, governance, and cloud financial management Experience with Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, VM Rightsizing, Azure Policies, Tagging Strategy, Chargeback Models, and Cost Controls Key Responsibilities: Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives across Azure environments. Right-size Azure resources and identify cost reduction opportunities. Build and implement FinOps governance frameworks and policies. Develop tagging strategies and support chargeback/showback models. Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams. Implement automation for cloud financial management and resource governance. Evaluate and implement tools such as Flexera or Apptio.
