Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality integration solution designs and phasing. - Deliver clear solution architectures by simplifying complex system landscapes and providing authoritative guidance that supports integration decisions. - Translate ambiguity into actionable plans, shaping incomplete or evolving requirements into coherent technical approaches for acquisition onboarding. - Ensure high-quality, evidence-based decision making, presenting options, risks, and trade-offs that stand up to scrutiny from engineering, clinical, security and operational stakeholders. - Build strong cross-functional relationships, influence without authority, and maintain alignment across product, engineering, clinical and operational stakeholders. - Champion safety, data protection, and resilience, ensuring all integration decisions uphold clinical standards, PHI/PII protection requirements and continuity of care. - Development of new or existing applications and solutions in line with application designs, development standards, methodologies and strategic architecture frameworks. - Working as a lead alongside technical SMEs within product teams and projects of varying scope and size. - Can spot problems before development or serve up solutions to combat issues as they arise throughout the lifespan of a project. - Evaluate existing products and solutions to propose practical improvements, taking ownership and working with colleagues and business owners to implement changes. - Drive improvements to development practices and technical documentation. - Take ownership of maintaining and expanding development standards within your technical domain. - Investigate and propose the establishment of new technologies and methodologies that can improve development practices and products. - Takes ownership for resolving domain-specific related problems, which directly or indirectly impact operational services or development activities. - Manage implementation activities, change control and release planning. - Take ownership of improvements for internal documentation of products and technical solutions. - Become the point of contact for technical and domain-specific support for other teams within your technical domain. - Establish and maintain credibility and working relationships with other teams, being an ambassador within the business community, and supporting a customer service culture. - Defines, documents and maintains relevant designs (including integration/specification documents) and intellectual property on a defined area estate. - Create integration and other specification documents. - Consider the options to solve business challenges through many lenses: Engineering, Business, Security, Data and Operations. - Recommend solutions based on time to value, overall costs, risks and strategic fit. - Build strong, collaborative relationships with our partner organisations, helping to align our technical efforts with external needs. - Clearly and crisply communicate and contribute to architectural decisions, plans, and standards for the products we create and support. - Engage with design governance early and often so that solution designs meet peer review and meet control obligations with the minimum of fuss. - Align with defined architecture patterns, standards and target architectures. - Ensure solutions are taken through appropriate internal governance processes, such as Technical Design Authorities and other forums. - Support the procurement of new technologies and solutions aligned to business/technology requirements, including vendor assessments/selection, RFIs and RFPs. - Responsible for understanding and maintaining data models and inter-system relationships, dependencies, and integrations. - Creating compliant and robust solution architectures aligned with business requirements/goals/strategy, technology strategy, and regulatory/legal requirements. Requirements: - 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect is mandatory. - Understanding of Network, Infrastructure and Cloud. - Google Cloud OR Azure OR AWS - Any1 - Good to have Java Spring Boot OR Microsoft tech stack (Java tech stack is preferred). - Experience in distributed systems. - REST APIs, Microservices, Kafka, or similar technologies are mandatory. - Product and Agile operating methods, and experience working in product teams.
