About the role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with developers to establish CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and reusable deployment jobs. Your role involves identifying, exploring, and advocating for new technologies suitable for enterprise implementation. Automating environment provisioning and promoting DevOps tools to streamline the build and Continuous Delivery processes are key responsibilities. You will be in charge of managing the Continuous Integration and Deployment environment, ensuring smooth operation and scalability across all product development teams. Your expertise should include hands-on experience with AWS services like multi-region/multi-AZ systems, auto-scaling of EC2 instances, CloudFormation, ELBs, VPCs, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, Route53, RDS, IAM roles, and security groups. Proficiency in Data Visualization and Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Build and CI/CD/CT technologies like GitHub, Chef, Artifactory, and Hudson/Jenkins is required. You should be skilled in log collection, filter creation, analysis, builds, and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure. Automation plays a crucial role in your responsibilities, including automating environment provisioning using tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible, and deploying environments using containers such as Docker or Rocket. A strong foundation in configuration management tools and version control is expected. In terms of qualifications, you should hold a B.E/ B.Tech/ M.C.A degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 60% in both Graduation and Post-Graduation is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills are also important for this role.
