About the role
Job Summary: We are looking for an Electrical Panel Designer estimation engineer to support our sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quotations to sales staff with the coordination of the sales manager, Production team and management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Requirement analysis: a. Understand client requirements, both technical and quantity specification 2. Bull of materials and quotation preparation: a. Prepare a comprehensive Bill of materials and accurate quotations based on client needs 3. Electrical Panel Design: a. Develop detailed design for electrical panels in accordance with client specification 4. Coordination with production: a. Collaborate with the production team to ensure the manufactured product aligns with the approved design and BOM 5. Final Quality Check: a. Conduct a thorough quality check on the finished electrical panels to ensure compliance with design and industry standards. 6. Strategy Development: a. Develop new strategies for efficient design and cost estimation processes. 7. Continuous Monitoring: a. Monitor and manage the timing of quotation and design preparation to meet project timelines. 8. Improvement Initiatives: a. Identify opportunities for improvement in quotation and design formats, incorporating creative solutions for enhanced clarity and effectiveness. 9. Responsibility for Quotation and Design: a. Take full ownership of the quotation preparation and design processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: · Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/Power Electronics. · B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/Power Electronics or relevant field education. Experience: · Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in Electrical Panel design and estimation. Key Skills: · Proficient in electrical panel design software. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and coordination abilities. · Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision. · Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
