About The Role

As a Developer in this team, you’ll help build and evolve MYOB’s payer-facing experiences. You’ll work across the services that support the online invoice lifecycle and payment processing, with a focus on delivering experiences that are intuitive, secure and reliable for our customers.

Working closely with other developers, product managers and UX designers, you’ll support payments, invoicing and related money movement workflows. You’ll also collaborate with your peers to improve our development and DevOps practices, strengthen customer experiences, and build hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies.

Embedded Finance group builds financial capabilities directly into MYOB products so customers can manage payments, invoicing and related money-movement workflows as part of their normal product experience.

What we are looking for

• Strong programming skills across a variety of languages and technologies, including Java or Kotlin, NodeJS, TypeScript, React (modern), and Spring Boot.

• Experience in AI coding - such as Cursor (Claude agent), Codex or Copilot being highly valued.

• Practical experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerisation using Docker, and CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and Agile environment, with a proven capacity to quickly adapt to changing business needs.

• Strong dedication to delivering high-quality software to customers on a regular basis.

• Ability to empower the team to define, refine, and incrementally achieve a technical vision, while consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Be the voice of the team ensuring knowledge flows both from development teams to the broader MYOB tech community and vice versa.
