About the role
QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or similar field is advantageous SKILLS Resilience and versatility in dealing with varying levels of organisational maturity Track record and ability in delivering quality outcomes Building strong relationships across teams with the ability to influence key decision making Analytical and problem-solving skills Teamwork, collaboration & communication Solid judgment, reasoning and decision-making abilities Ability to focus, prioritise and multi-task successfully to drive tasks to closure to support aggressive delivery schedules EXPERIENCE 7+ years of relevant software development, UI/UX design and/or Quality Engineering experience Experience in test automation for functional and/or accessibility testing using Axe/WAVE Minimum of 8 years experience as an Accessibility Analyst/QE Exposure in Testing accessibility for an application in CI/CD pipeline. Worked on Automating part of accessibility requirements. Strong and demonstratable technical skills around testing/quality engineering for different technologies In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.x Level AA) and regulations , and best-practice Accessibility, Usability, Inclusive Design, human-centered design principles or similar Technical proficiency to use accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Talkback) Ability to conduct thorough accessibility audits, design reviews, and provide actionable design recommendations and technical requirements for an accessible build Ability to facilitate comprehensive accessibility training to peers, development teams, stakeholders Experience in Agile Methodology Proven thought leader & trusted advisor
