As a part of Trexquant, you will be joining a dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge quantitative research and trading platforms. The Infrastructure Engineers at Trexquant play a crucial role in designing and optimizing high-performance systems for algorithmic trading. You will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class researchers and traders to enhance trading performance and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-performance trading systems using C++ and Python, with a focus on low-latency and high-throughput requirements. - Design and optimize data processing pipelines to ensure reliable access to large and high-quality datasets. - Collaborate with researchers and traders to build tools for back testing, model training, and strategy evaluation. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to continuously improve existing systems. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline. - Minimum 2 years of experience in C++ software development within real-time environments. - Strong expertise in contemporary C++ (C++17/20) and Linux fundamentals. - Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and HTCondor. - Working knowledge of Python and its numerical ecosystem. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good to Have: - Experience with matrix computation and optimization tools. - Familiarity with live market data and exchange feeds. - Proficiency in profiling and tuning production Linux systems. - Experience with time-series processing or event-driven systems. - Knowledge of working across C++ and Python boundaries.
