About the role
Key Responsibilities: Prepare enquiry specifications and technical documentation for piping materials and components. Review vendor quotes and proposals, ensuring compliance with technical and project specifications. Compile and present Technical Recommendations (TR) for vendor selection. Draft and finalize order specifications for piping items. Review and approve vendor drawings to ensure adherence to project requirements. Conduct detailed reviews of piping content within mechanical packages. Collaborate with vendors to resolve queries and technical concerns. Coordinate with project and engineering teams to align procurement activities with timelines and goals. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Relevant experience in piping procurement activities. Familiarity with industry standards and piping components. Prior experience in vendor management and technical reviews. Retired specialists with substantial industry experience are welcome to apply. Skills: Robust expertise in preparing enquiry and order specifications.
