Technical Architect/Engineering Lead

As a Technical Architect / Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of a scalable, real-time consultation platform. Your responsibilities will include leading the team by example through writing high-quality code, mentoring developers, removing technical blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of features. Key Responsibilities: - Actively contribute to backend development and system design - Lead the team by example through clean, scalable, and maintainable code - Mentor developers to improve team productivity and code quality - Remove technical roadblocks and drive timely delivery of features System Design & Architecture: - Design and evolve scalable backend systems and microservices architecture - Build robust solutions for real-time communication and high-traffic systems - Ensure system security, reliability, and performance Technology & API Strategy: - Define API architecture including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs - Design efficient data models and database architecture - Evaluate and adopt modern technologies aligned with product needs Performance & Scalability: - Build systems capable of handling high concurrency and real-time interactions - Implement caching, load balancing, and performance optimization strategies Modern Engineering Practices: - Drive adoption of AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Cursor, etc. - Leverage these tools to improve development speed, code quality, and productivity Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Java, C#, or Go - Experience with backend frameworks like Node.js, Python, or similar - Strong experience with Typescript - Expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and real-time systems Cloud & Infrastructure: - Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure - Containerization: Docker - Orchestration: Kubernetes - CI/CD pipeline setup and management Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in product-based companies - Strong ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving attitude - Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments - Passion for building scalable and impactful products In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone with a builder mindset, who codes regularly, takes ownership, and continuously upgrades skills using modern tools and practices.
