Software Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, Java, and JavaScript. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality. Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions. Develop and execute API tests using REST/SOAP services and automation tools. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Install, configure, test, and validate software across development, testing, and production environments. Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, and execution reports while following QA best practices. Support UAT, production deployments, release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives . Technical skills • Strong experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing . • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver , Appium , and automation frameworks. • Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript for test automation. • Experience in API Testing using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and tools like Postman or Swagger . • Knowledge of TestNG , JUnit , or similar testing frameworks. • Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber . • Experience with SQL and database validation (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server). • Hands-on experience with JIRA , Azure DevOps , or other defect tracking tools. • Knowledge of Git , Maven , Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines. • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC). • Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage
