About the role
Role Overview: Nasdaq Technology is seeking a passionate Full stack Software Engineer Senior Specialist with a focus on AWS Cloud SaaS Java and React Development to join the Mumbai technology center in India. As a Full stack Software Engineer Senior Specialist, you will be part of a cross-functional team delivering critical data solutions for financial markets globally. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, develop innovative solutions, and progress within the development team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement software solutions, working closely with colleagues in Mumbai and other Nasdaq teams worldwide. - Responsible for the full software development life cycle, from planning and designing to coding and testing. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into software solutions. - Provide user support, training, and maintenance of software applications. - Serve as a technical expert on development projects, support, maintain, and document software functionality. - Participate in software design meetings and perform code reviews. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Java software engineer. - Experience in web development with JavaScript, React, and Single-Page Web applications. - Proficient in AWS, SQL, RESTful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, Linux commands, and Bash scripting. - Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with industry trends. - Creativity, innovation, attention to detail, and quality assurance. - Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment. - Curiosity for the financial industry. - Degree qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Kotlin, SaaS, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, big data tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containers (Docker and Kubernetes).
