Development process Engineer

Title: Development Process Engineer Reports to: Factory Vice Manager Department: Supply chain Location: Saudi Arabia Primary Purpose: Design, optimize, and implement efficient, cost-effective, and robust manufacturing systems, bridging the gap between R&D and full-scale production, ensuring new products can be made safely, reliably, and at high quality, meeting business goals and customer needs. Key Accountabilities: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Design and conduct experiments and pilot studies to test and validate new process parameters. Evaluate and select new equipment and technologies to integrate into production lines. Analyze process data using statistical methods to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement process improvements using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. Monitor production metrics and quality control data to ensure performance goals are met. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation. Ensure all processes comply with relevant industry, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with corporate standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, production, quality) to implement new processes and technologies. Provide training and technical support to production staff on new processes and procedures. Performs any work requested by the direct manager. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field chemical or mechanical. Experience 4+ Years Experience In manufacturing processes, Industry Operations . Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with various teams and stakeholders. Several years of experience in process development or a similar role are required, often with a focus on scaling up processes and transferring them to production. Experience in a manufacturing environment is crucial for understanding operational needs and equipment. Proven experience in project management is essential for coordinating the development and implementation of new products and processes. Proficiency with software like Aspen Plus or HYSYS is highly valued. Knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments (DOE) is important for data analysis and process optimization.
