About the role
About the internship: Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assisting in conducting web application and server scans using tools like Nessus, Nmap, or Burp Suite, and prepare VAPT risk reports. 2. Writing initial plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual, automated, and AI Bot testing using tools like Selenium or Postman. 3. Tracking bugs, report issues, and perform regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software quality before deployment. 4. Developing AI-based modules for governance platforms, including NLP for chatbots or document summarization. 5. Developing chatbots (conversational RAG, agentic RAG, etc.) using GenAI models and handle data for knowledge base creations. 6. Performing feature engineering, model tuning, and validation for specific use cases while evaluating open-source AI tools or APIs. Are current Engineering Graduates/Post-Graduates (or equivalent technical fields) with a minimum of 75% marks in their qualifying degree. 2. Have passed out within the last two years (2025, 2026) OR are current final-year students graduating in 2027. 3. Are available for the fixed, full-time 6-month duration (July to December session) without requesting an extension. 4. Can secure an official sponsorship or forwarding endorsement from the institution where they are currently enrolled or have recently graduated. 5. Are available to work completely offline at NeGD's physical office workspace daily.
