Experience: 8+ years in UI/UX design with at least 5 years in a senior designer role. Work experience in large corporations or any govt. organization in the IT domain. Role and Responsibilities: Lead the design strategy, user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design for web and mobile platforms Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define intuitive and user-centric design solutions. Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to inform design decisions. Ensure adherence to accessibility (WCAG), GIGW 3.0, and design system standards across products. Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and consistent interfaces. Guide and mentor a team of Jr.UI/UX designers, ensuring quality control and best practices in all design deliverables. Drive the adoption of design systems, reusable components, and responsive design frameworks. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the user experience. Creation of Social Media posts, newsletter, banners etc Identify and troubleshoot UX problems. Good knowledge of creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboard, and user flows etc. Knowledge about style standards on fonts, colors, and images. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team Keeping up to date with recent technological and software development landscape Desired Skills & Tools: Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools for UI/UX design. Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better developer collaboration. Familiar with tools for testing and analytics such as Hotjar, Maze, or similar. Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles. Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve UX issues Knowledge of style standards, including fonts, colors, and imagery, to maintain consistency in designs. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in design from a design institute, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Fine Arts/ Visual Design/ Visual Communication/ Design Computer Science, or a related field. Desirable : Experience designing for government, large-scale enterprises, or citizen-facing platforms. Familiarity with agile development environments and collaboration tools like Click up, JIRA, Confluence, or Trello. Diploma / Certification in Interaction Design & UI/UX
