AI/ML Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML models and intelligent applications for governance and municipal use cases. Additionally, you will work on generative AI, LLM, NLP, chatbot, recommendation, forecasting, and predictive analytics solutions. Your role will involve building RAG-based applications, AI agent workflows, and scalable AI services integrated with microservices-based platforms and APIs. Collaboration with product, engineering, DevOps, cloud, and state implementation teams will be essential for deployment and operationalization of AI solutions. Moreover, you will optimize AI/ML models for scalability, performance, security, and reliability in production environments. Conducting research on emerging AI technologies, supporting AI-enabled automation, and preparing technical documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models and intelligent applications for governance and municipal use cases. - Implement generative AI, LLM, NLP, chatbot, recommendation, forecasting, and predictive analytics solutions. - Build RAG-based applications, AI agent workflows, and scalable AI services integrated with microservices-based platforms and APIs. - Create and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and MLOps pipelines for production deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and operationalization of AI solutions. - Optimize AI/ML models for scalability, performance, security, and reliability in production environments. - Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and open-source tools. - Support AI-enabled automation, analytics, and decision-support systems for urban governance and municipal administration. - Prepare technical documentation, architecture notes, reports, and knowledge-sharing material. - Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI practices. Qualifications Required: - B.Tech./BE/M.Tech./MCA/MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines from a recognized institution. - 2+ years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML solution development and deployment. - Strong programming expertise in Python. - Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, Hugging Face, LangChain, LangGraph, etc. - Hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, agentic AI, workflow orchestration, open-source vector databases, REST APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL/NoSQL databases, data engineering concepts, MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, deployment practices, scalable distributed systems, and multi-tenant architectures. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience working at Central/State/PSU level in the urban sector is preferred. - Entrepreneurial spirit, including the ability to work independently and autonomously.
